What You Need to Know About Family Entertainment Franchises

,

Some of the most strategic entrepreneurs seek business ownership through franchising. However, it’s most important that you find one that is both lucrative and rewarding for you financially and personally.

Family entertainment franchises offer exactly that – with a growing market and increased demand from parents and community members, a family entertainment franchise is a great addition to any portfolio.

Keep reading to learn more about investing in a family entertainment franchise.

What is a family entertainment franchise?

A family entertainment franchise is a full-service indoor entertainment that offers a wide variety of activities, such as laser tag, rock climbing, trampolines, arcades, etc. The range of activities caters to a large customer demographic, attracting parents, teens and children from across the community.

Why invest in a family entertainment franchise?

There are several benefits of investing in a family entertainment franchise. One of the biggest reasons to invest is the growing family entertainment market. The market was most recently valued at $41 billion in 2022 and is projected to reach $140 billion by 2032, according to Persistence Market Research.

The investment is also good for the community and the families within it. Not only do family entertainment franchises bring in profit, but they also provide a safe, clean and fun atmosphere for families of all ages to enjoy time together. Parents are always looking for ways to get kids away from screens, and indoor family entertainment spaces promote movement and socialization through engaging activities.

How lucrative is this franchise?

Investing in your community is a great goal, but you ultimately want your business to be successful and profitable. So, you may be wondering, how much money can I make as a family entertainment franchise owner?

Although we have an industry benchmark, the exact answer boils down to the brand’s most recent franchise disclosure document (FDD). The FDD’s Item 19 thoroughly breaks down the average profits generated from all their locations. While this doesn’t guarantee you the exact results, it demonstrates the robust model and proven blueprint that lays the foundation for your business.

How stable is a family entertainment franchise?

Given the wide customer age range, an indoor family entertainment park offers many revenue opportunities with activities available year-round. Birthday parties, summer camps, events, corporate outings, and other casual celebratory gatherings are some of the top revenue drivers, leaving ample opportunity to market your business to the community.
